VIENNA, Virginia, (August 31, 2009) — INDUS Corporation, a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider, announced today that it is working as a subcontractor to IDL Solutions, Inc., to provide Enterprise Application Support to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the Enterprise Systems Life Cycle Management Support (ELMS) contract. ELMS is a multiple–award contract with a total program value of $2B.
The FDA developed the ELMS program to acquire planning, design, development, testing, implementation, operations coordination, and maintenance for the FDA's automated systems and business application software. These systems and software packages integrate hardware, software, data and communication services. IDL will compete against other ELMS contract holders for the award of task orders under the contract.
INDUS' President, Carleton Jones, remarked: ″Providing important Enterprise Application Support to the FDA expands our already-broad Federal Civilian market base in a meaningful way. We look forward to tackling this work and are especially pleased to be working with IDL again.″
